Valley
Trail (Bum Level 1): 1 hour ride
This trail offers beautiful scenic horse trails in the Blue Ridge
mountains that are great for adults and children. This is an all time
favorite that brings our riders back again and again. Although it is our
level 1 trail, it does have a few obstacles that will excite you It's easy
on the bum.
The
Cashes Trail (Bum Level 2)
The Cashes offers a combination of scenic views, wildlife and somewhat
more advanced terrain. This ride will work for an advanced rider but is
still safe for the adventurous beginner.
The Sam
Callihan Excursion (Bum Level 3)
As you can see, this ride has the highest bum rating of them all! There is
a good reason for it. Weather permitting, this trail offers the
experienced rider the chance to show their stuff with a little cantering.
This trail also features fantastic views from the top of the mountain but
remember: what goes up must come down. (This trail is only for advanced
riders.)

Meet the Owners |
Misty Callihan
grew up around horses. At 27, she has a tremendous respect
and astute knowledge about the care and training of horses. She learned a
lot by working with Allan Patterson at Middle Valley Farm where she
trained Thoroughbred horses. and was farm manager. She has been guiding
trails at several North Georgia stables since the age of 12. |
Derrick Callihan
At 33 years old, co-owner Derrick Callihan can often be seen leading
groups of riders along the trails. If you want an interesting conversation just ask him about his favorite past time. He is active in
the First Alabama Cavalry where he and his trusty steed Jeb can be seen
defending the South from the Union Army. |

taking winter whites will astonish you.
The abundance of native animals and flowers adds to the enjoyment and photo opportunities of each ride. Once you've experienced the
gentle horses and majestic Georgia mountain views, we're sure you'll become a
part of our extended family for years to come.

Meet Some of Our Horses |
|
Diesal
Diesal
is a great riding horse for the heftier rider! His disposition is gentle
but he likes to be in the front and he is so big that the other horses
move out of his way! No kids please. |
Thunder
Thunder is a beautiful white walking horse and is what the Indians call a
medicine hat paint. They were considered to have supernatural powers.
Thunder is sweet and a great horse for all level of riders. |

|
Slick
Slick is a quarter horse with a passion for snacks. He is laid back and
loves to pick up a snack on the way down the trail. He has been known to
walk over trees in an effort to pick up a leaf. |
Forrest
Gump
Forrest Gump- "Run Forrest Run!" Forrest has to be in his number two spot
on the trail. He is a young horse with a lot of spunk. He is also one of
my strongest horses. He is for those who like a little spunk. |
