A. Randall Tuten Environmental Park is a 20 acre park. Park has streams, wetlands, 2 ponds, floating dock. Home to over 100 species of trees, one mile nature trail with 500' boardwalk. Covered amphitheatre, restrooms, water fountain and sprinkler system. The park is used for educational purposes for tours and school groups and also for community concerts and theatrical performances. Moody Forest Natural Area is an irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind treasure. One of the nations last remaining old-growth forest featuring longleaf pines 200-300 plus years old and mammonth tupelo cypress more than 600 years old. The forest is also home to rare plants, birds, and animals including the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker, the gopher tortoise and the eastern indigo snake.
