A. Randall Tuten Environmental Park is a 20 acre park. Park has streams, wetlands, 2 ponds, floating dock. Home to over 100 species of trees, one mile nature trail with 500' boardwalk. Covered amphitheatre, restrooms, water fountain and sprinkler system. Carter's Bight Boat Landing lets you launch your boats in the Altamaha River at Carter's Bight boat landing. Amenities include new boat ramp, canoe launch, picnic shelter, restrooms, outdoor shower, picnic tables and grills, paved parking and playground. Phone: 912-367-7615

Falling Rocks Park has over 20 acres of campsites, nature trail, picnic shelters, picnic tables and grills, paved parking, water and sewer, dump station, comfort center, playground. County owned and operated. Across from Deen's Boat Landing on the Altamaha River. Moody Forest Natural Area is an irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind treasure. One of the nations last remaining old-growth forest featuring longleaf pines 200-300 plus years old and mammonth tupelo cypress more than 600 years old. The forest is also home to rare plants, birds, and animals including the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker, the gopher tortoise and the eastern indigo snake.
