| Buffalo Creek Outdoor Education Center - Amenities: 40 acres. Center has a football field and softball fields. The habitats in this area range from a year round running stream (Buffalo Creek) to dry uplands pine and hardwood. The area also includes a wetlands, shade and sun. The Carroll County Master Gardeners have demonstration gardens there. The Forestry Commission has an old saw mill, grist mill and other buildings used for demonstrations. Carrollton Senior Center - Amenities: Senior Adults over the age of 55 that come to the Senior Center can participate in programs such as computers, line dancing, water aerobics, arts and crafts classes, ceramics, quilting, billiards, chair exercises, card games, and many other activities. The seniors enjoy many holiday parties throughout the year. There are games, music, prizes, food and fun! Day trips are taken monthly and overnight trips a few times a year. A congregate meals program is provided Monday through Friday at noon for members. Those over 60 pay a donation per meal and those under the age of 60 pay a small fee.
Nice and Easy Aerobics classes are offered in the Bonner Building. The fitness center is free to members of the Senior Center. Senior Dances are held in the Pilot Auditorium of the Community Activities Building every second and fourth Friday night at 7:30pm. Paul Cooper's band plays great music for every one to enjoy. Admission cost per person and if you want you can bring a snack to share. A contract duplicate bridge league plays every Tuesday and Thursday in the Community Activities Center. All of these activities as well as many others are offered by the Carrollton Senior Center, and to be a member for a small annual fee. Transportation is provided to and from the Senior Center for those who do not drive, however it is on a limited basis. Open every Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm.

| Catherine Hardy Lavender Recreation Center - Amenities: The gymnasium has been renovated but the Center is new. The new building houses a weight room, arts and crafts room, computer room, game room and a large multi-purpose room which can be converted into 3 separate areas with folding doors. The multi-purpose room and the Arts & Crafts room will be available to rent for special events. Center also has Basketball-Softball Fields, Basketball-Volleyball (inside), Meeting Rooms, Picnic Area, Playground, Pool and Restrooms. | Dr. Tracy P. Stallings Community Center - Amenities: This historic Neel Reid building was at one time the Carrollton High School and the Carrollton Junior High School. The building has been completey renovated uncovering brick walls, cabinets and blackboards that were originally in some of the classrooms. A new handicap ramp has been added to the North side of the building and we now have a handicap restroom on the main level. The facility is open for rentals for all types of events. | Lakeshore Natatorium - Amenities: The Natatorium is the home of our Aquatic Center. We offer Swim America swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. You will find many programs available such as Water Aerobics, Masters Swimming, lap swimming, and free swim. American Red Cross courses and CPR for the Professional Rescuer will be offered in this center. The Carrollton Bluefin Swim Team holds practices and some swim meets here. | Lakeshore Park Complex - Amenities: Located across the road from beautiful Lake Carroll. The Center houses a regulation size gymnasium and various rooms and offices, a track, 6 tennis courts, and 4 ball fields, covered picnic pavilion which seats 100 and has a small playground. The pavilion has a barbeque pit, 2 grills, and 14 picnic tables. Call to reserve gym, park fields, track and tennis courts. No rental fee is charged for the tennis courts or track. However, the tennis courts can be reserved starting Friday at 9 a.m. for the following week on a first-come first-served basis. McIntosh Reserve – Amenities: The Reserve is 527 acres packed with history, trails, a splash water park, pavilions and sweeping frontage on the Chattahoochee River. The park is a favorite of hikers and equestrian riders.

McIntosh Reserve Park is open year round except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Park office hours are 8 am until 5 pm daily. Park hours are 8 am until 8 pm (Summer) and 8 am until 7 pm (Winter). Camping and Pavilion reservations may be made by phone or in person M-F from 8 am until 5 pm. Picnic shelters and camp sites are available daily by reservation or without reservations if you are in the Park before closing time. Picnic tables not occupied by campers are available on a first come first serve basis. Quiet time for campers begins at 10 pm and continues until 7 am. Pets are allowed, but must be in control of the owner at all times. Dogs should be on leashes at all times. Horses should be not be tied to individual trees which could result in damage to the tree.
