Earl May Boat Basin Park features boat ramps in the basin. The basin is connected to the Flint River by a short canal. The park also has baseball fields, a playground, and a swimming area (no life guard). And on display there is an old steam locamotive and old sawmill equipment for self touring. There is a boardwalk that runs about 1/4 mile along the river. The park also features a 3 mile nature trail. Willis Park is a beautiful historic park in the center of downtown Bainbridge. It has a lovely gazebo and landscaping. The site of frequent brown bag concerts. Phone: 229-248-2000 - Location: Downtown, Bainbridge Georgia 39817 - Directions: Off of Hwy 27/Hwy. 84 by-pass, take the Shotwell Street exit headed east
