Park Amenities and Activities - Several structures in the park were built by Roosevelt’s Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Dowdell’s Knob, Roosevelt’s favorite picnic spot overlooks a magnificent view of the valley below.

Campgrounds
40 ft Campsite holds the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer up to 40', or a motorhome up to 40'. Has water, 20/30 amp electrical svc, picnic table, grill, fire ring. Comfort station with washer/dryer. No cable. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. All sites are first come, first served. Located in wooded area & most are well shaded. Within walking distance to lake.
Group Camps: Summer Camp Fun - Group camps are reminiscent of going away to summer camp and are perfect for large youth gatherings. While each is unique, they all provide rustic “cabins” with bunk beds, large kitchens, dining/assembly rooms, restrooms with hot showers and activity areas. Linens are not provided. Note: Group Camps are not reservable online, please call 1-800-864-7275. Minimum occupancy is two nights, and a deposit is required. Cancellations must be made at least six months in advance and will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee.
Back Country Campsites - You may have up to 15 people and 5 tents. There are no facilities at this campsite. Water must be carried in or gathered and purified. No vehicle access. No bicycle access. Backcountry campsites are located along a 23 mile trail. Campers must arrive 2 hours before dark to reach site before dark. No permits issued for night hikes. No camping outside designated campsites.
Pioneer Sites #1 & #2 - Primitive, rugged site for groups only. 10 person minimum. Site is located by itself. Site has water but no electricity. Site has pit toilets, picnic tables and small shelter. A minimum rate of $15 per night plus $1 per person per night charge for each person over 15 in group. Group must check in at park office before setting up camp. Open area for tent camping only. Campsites are near an access for the Pine Mountain Trail Hiking Trail.

Cottage 2 - Older stone 1 bedroom cottage. Sleeps 3. Bedroom has 1 double bed & 1 single bed. Has 1 bath (shower only). Bed & bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave & coffee maker. 2 fireplaces (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Cottage is located on the top of the mountain.
Cottages 3, 4 & 8-11 - One bedroom cottage. Sleeps 4. Two double beds. Has one bath (shower only). Bed and bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. Two fireplaces (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Has screened porch.
Cottage 5 - One bedroom cottage. Sleeps 5. One double bed and one single bed in bedroom and one double bed in living area. One bath with shower stall only. Bed and bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. Fireplace (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Cottage has screened porch. This cottage is located on a hill above the lake. More isolated than most of the cottages.
Cottages 7 & 12-16 - Two bedroom cottage. Sleeps 6. Has double bed and single bed in each bedroom. Has one full bath. Bed and bath linens provided. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave and coffee maker. Fireplace (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Screened porch.
Cottages 17 - 21 (ADA Accessible) - Cottage 17 is a 2 ADA bedroom cottage. Sleeps 8. Each bedroom has 2 double beds. Has one bath with accessible shower unit. All bed & bath linens are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. Fireplace (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Screened porch. ADA accessible Cottages 18, 19, 20 & 21 are two bedroom cottages. Sleeps 8. Each bedroom has two double beds. Has one bath. All bed and bath linens are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave. Fireplace (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Screened porch.
Cottage 22 - Located at least 4 miles from any activity on the park. Three bedroom cottage. Sleeps 10. The master bedroom has 1 king size bed. The other bedroom on the main floor has 2 queen size beds and the loft has 2 queen size beds. Has 4 full baths. Bed and bath linens provided. Cottage has fully equipped kitchen with microwave and coffee pot. Fireplace (wood not provided). Heat/AC. No TV. No phone. Open porch. Parking for 4 vehicles.
Group Shelters
Enclosed shelter. Located below the Lake Delanor Dam. Shelter has heat/AC for year round use. Equipped with tables, chairs, restrooms, stove, refrigerator & sink. BBQ grill is in a shelter next to the group shelter. Max of 30 vehicles allowed at shelter. All visitors are required to have parkpass.
Picnic Shelters 1 and 2
Picnic Shelter #1 - Open-sided covered shelter. Located near the pool and will seat 50 people. Shelter has restrooms, water and electric outlets. Grills near the shelter. Playground ball field and pool next to shelter. A fireplace is in the shelter. Shelter is hard to reach for wheel chairs and elderly people. Maximum of 30 vehicles allowed at shelter. All visitors are required to have a park pass. Picnic Shelter #2 - Open-sided covered shelter. Located below the Dam at Lake Delanor. Will accommodate 50 people. Offers grill, electric outlet and water. Shelter is near playground, lake and hiking trail. Shelter is wheel chair accessible. Sidewalk from parking lot is concrete. Max of 30 vehicles allowed at shelter. All visitors are required to have a park pass.

Reservations Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a reservation must be made at least 3 days prior to the date of arrival in order to receive a refund. A cancellation/handling fee per reservation will be charged. Changes in arrival date made less than 3 days prior to the scheduled arrival will constitute a cancellation and forfeit of the deposit. 7-14 day Cottage Reservation Guidelines: All cancellations received 30 days in advance will receive deposit refund minus the cancellation fee per facility.
If a customer requests to cancel less then 30 days in advance but before 72 hours of arrival, the customer may request refund in witting to the site. If cottage is rebooked for the time period originally reserved, site will have Customer Service issue a full refund to the customer minus the cancellation fee. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival date no refund of the one night deposit will be given. Deposits are required for all reservations. Credit card deposits are posted when the reservation is made.
Check-in - Check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm and check-out is before 1 pm. Campers must register and present a reservation confirmation before setting up. If you do not arrive on the first night of your stay, you will be counted as a no-show, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will forfeit your deposit.
Reservation Changes (Changes in arrival dates, transfers, etc.)
You may make one change without a charge, provided a 3-day notice is given. Additional changes will incur per reservation handling fee.
