Produce and More - On the farm front, vegetables are starting to come in. We've got squash, cucumbers, sweet onions, red potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers, jalepeno, hot and sweet banana, pablano, thai, habanero and many other peppers. We also have eggplant, green beans, sweet corn, kale as well as homemade jams and jellies. Some other veggies and fruits that will be ready in a few weeks: purple hull peas, zucchini, cantaloupes and watermelons.
We have caught up with the times (technologically speaking), so look for Minter's Farm on Facebook! But we're still stuck in the past when it comes to tractors, trucks and engines.
The second Inman Antique Truck Show was a hit! Over 110 vehicles showed. It was a great success and we appreciate everyone for their input in making the show such a great event. It was great seeing everyone here and look forward to doing it all again next year.
Mark your calendars for September 2014for the 18th annual Inman Farm Heritage Days!
