Bold Springs Park is one of Parks & Recreations newest parks and is approx. 3 acres of fun. Amenities include a Pavilion with picnic tables, ballfield and playground equipment. Coker Community Park is a 33.8 acres. Amenities include 2 multi-purpose Adult Softball - Football fields, 2 scorers booths, concession stand, picnic pavilion with restrooms and fireplace, picnic area with 9 concrete picnic tables, playground area with wooden equipment, 1 small picnic shelter (holds 2 tables), "dry bed" for future lake. Criswell Community Park is 34.9 acres. It has the Johnny Owens Youth Sports Complex, baseball and softball fields, a paved walking trail, a playground area with recycled plastic play equipment, support buildings (concessions, restrooms, maintenance), along with some additional open space and passive areas. It adjoins the Ag-Center property, in combination with which serves as the host site for the Monroe Crepe Myrtle Festival each spring. The park is the main complex for youth baseball and softball in the Monroe and surrounding area. Youth Soccer, Basketball, Football and Summer Day camp are also offered at this park.
Other amenities include: 1 concession/restroom located between the fields (modified hub), 1 water fountain, 1 covered barbecue pit, 1 picnic pavilion with 8 tables, 2 each 200' youth baseball fields, 2 each 200' youth softball fields, 1 each 300' youth baseball field, 1 undeveloped area, beside Field 5, at the baseball hub will allow for 1 or . 2 more youth fields to be constructed, 1 paved walking/jogging trail (1/2 mile), 2 batting cages, 1 playground area with 2 to 5 and 5 to 12 age equipment, 1 maintenance barn, 1 paved parking area with 149 spaces, 6 handicap and 70 grass area parking spaces for overflow parking.

Felker Park is a beautiful brand new park includes 4 soccer and 2 football fields. It includes one large playground, restroom/concessions and other support buildings and now includes a walking trail with fitness stations soon to be installed. There are 4 acres set aside for the Monroe Boys and Girls Club. Their facility is now completed. Also the 50' perimeter of the property and an adjoining piece will comprise approximately 14 acres of permanent green space. Hammond Park is 14.5 acres and has been leased to Walton County by the City of Monroe for 50 years. This park is a passive park and has tennis courts, Ball fields (mainly for practice), concession stand, picnic areas, play equipment and play area. Kidd Park is adjacent to the Monroe Municipal Airport, with about 5 acres across Towler Rd. from the airport and the other 15 acres on the same side of the road as the airport. These 15 acres, 3 of which are a single soccer field, that once was a regulation baseball field, also adjoin the undeveloped portion of Coker Park. This park is comprised of mainly soccer fields. Kilgore's Mill Covered Bridge was constructed in 1894 to replace two earlier bridges. The current 1894 bridge is a town lattice truss bridge. Mathews Park is a Community Park with passive recreation. There is a 3-acre lake, a trail that has been laid-out for cross country running, 2 pavilions, public restrooms and playground equipment. The Annual "Fishing Derby" is held here in the spring, and opens the Fishing season. Fishing is allowed after the Derbies- December. An Environmental Study Area that was developed by the Soil Conservation Service and FFA of Monroe HS is a unique feature of the park.

Pilot Park was the site of an elementary school in 1900. Now, this is a passive park with two playground areas separated according to the appropriate age equipment.
