What to Expect
GDOL and its local partners - Career Centers, chambers of commerce, veterans' organizations, and individual employers - regularly host job fairs and on-the-spot recruitment events throughout the state, ranging from single-employer hiring events at a specific store or plant to large multi-employer career fairs. Employers commonly hire for warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and customer service roles at these events, among others. Most ask attendees to create a free account at EmployGeorgia.com and upload a resume ahead of time, since employers often reference a specific Job ID number. Business casual dress and a few printed copies of your resume are the standard expectation.
