Dublin-Laurens County St. Patrick's Festival
Held throughout March, annually since 1966

Georgia's longest-running St. Patrick's celebration packs nearly 40 events into the month of March in Dublin, including a BBQ Championship, arts & crafts festival, parade, leprechaun road race, hot air balloon glow, kite jamboree, corned beef & cabbage dinner and more. The festival builds to "Super Saturday" in mid-March, when most of the biggest events - the parade, arts & crafts festival, road race and more - all happen the same day in Downtown Dublin. Most events are free.

St. Patrick's Festival Highlights
Spread across March, with most concentrated on "Super Saturday"

Among the festival's nearly 40 events, standout traditions include the St. Patrick's Parade through historic Downtown Dublin, the Pig in the Park BBQ Championship at Market on Madison, the Arts & Crafts Festival, the Leprechaun Road Race (1 mile, 5K and 10K), a hot air balloon glow, a kite flying jamboree, and an Irish corned beef & cabbage dinner. Most events are free or low-cost; a few (the road race, golf tournament, and ticketed meals) charge a fee.

Peaches to the Beaches - Jesup Official Site
Held annually in March

Coastal Pines Technical College serves as an official Jesup site for Peaches to the Beaches, "Georgia's Longest Yard Sale," which runs along Highway 341 across multiple counties each spring. Typical hours are 8 am to 6 pm.

Performances at the Averitt Center for the Arts
Year-round performances

The Averitt Center for the Arts' Whitaker Black Box Theater hosts a rotating season of dance, theater and youth productions in downtown Statesboro, including past ballet and modern dance performances. Ticket prices vary by show.
