Dodge County Public Fishing Area Size: 104 acres Fish: Channel catfish, bass, and bream can be caught. Lake Facilities: A multi-lane concrete boat ramp, picnic tables, restrooms, nature trail and fishing pier. The restrooms and a fishing pier are handicap accessible. Fee: Anglers 16 or older must have: a state fishing license plus WMA stamp; honorary fishing license; or one day fishing license. Open: All year from sunrise to sunset Restrictions: Outboard motors over 10 hp must operate at idle speed only. A WMA stamp and a state fishing license, or a one-day fishing license, is needed to fish. Swimming is not allowed, and live baitfish may not be used. Outboard motors over 10 hp must operate at idle speed only. There are special creel limits of 5 bass 14 inches long or longer, 15 bream, and 5 channel catfish. Evans County Public Fishing Area
Size: 3 lakes; 8, 30, and 84 acres Fish: Bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish. The larger lakes have all species present while the 8 acre lake is intensively managed for bass and bream. Lake Facilities: Boat ramps, picnic tables, restrooms, fishing piers. Concrete boat ramps exist on the 8 and 84 acre lakes. All lakes accessible to bank and boat fishing. Fee: Anglers 16 or older must have: a state fishing license plus WMA stamp; honorary fishing license; or one day fishing license.
Open: March 1 through October 31, on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day from sunrise to sunset. Restrictions: Boats may use electric motors only. Anglers 16 years of age and older, except honorary license holders, must purchase a daily permit. A valid Wildlife Management Area stamp may be substituted for a daily permit.
