Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Landing-Ocmulgee River is a beautiful wooded and natural setting for camping, barbecues, fishing, and boating on the Ocmulgee River. with 20 primitive campsites and 15 with water and electricity. Park amenities include a Boat Launch, Free Parking on Site, Picnic Area and Restrooms. Camping cost is $15 per night.

Grand Plaza Park is an oasis in the middle of downtown featuring a fountain, mosaic tile topped tables, an open lawn and an amphitheatre stage with a large chess/checker board design. Game pieces are available for use. Architectural features including original steel supports from the building that formerly occupied the space now form an arbor over the brick walkway. The park is often the site for weddings and community gatherings as well as a focal point for community festivals. The Grand Plaza is available for private functions. Jefferson Davis Memorial in Fitzgerald Georgia - Confederate President Jefferson Davis and a few remaining staff members crossed the Savannah River into Georgia on May 3, 1865. Paulk Park Campground is located at Paulk Park Road off Perry House Road in Fitzgerald, GA.

Our 25 lakeside sites feature 30/50 amp pedestals with water and sewer connections plus a convenient dump station. Restroom, shower, and laundry facilities are located at the Depot. Please call ahead and we'll reserve a spot for you. Cost is $20 per night.
