Rock City's Enchanted Garden of Lights - 12/26 - 1/2/2009 at 6 pm - 9 pm
For the holiday season, Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights is a family tradition. Open nightly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., except for Christmas Eve night. This award-winning, light extravaganza features more than 25 holiday scenes and nearly a million lights that transform the gardens’ natural daytime splendor into a nocturnal fantasyland. Enjoy gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa and nightly Music Under the Moon entertainment. Group rates available.

Silver Comet Trail Community Bicycle Program - 1/1 - 1/30/2009 at 8 am - dusk, daily
By registering at the library, riders can get an access card for daily use of a bicycle on the trail. The bikes are available at Seaborn Jones Memorial Park, by the trailhead.
